Who We Are
Stanbic Investment Management Services Limited (SIMS), a member of the Standard Bank Group, is an investment management and advisory firm licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission and registered with the National Pensions Regulatory Authority as a pension fund manager.
Our purpose is to help our clients plan for their future and provide insights and unparalleled expert advice that enables them to achieve their lifetime financial goals.
Our History
- In 2007, SIMS was incorporated as a subsidiary of Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited together with its sister company, Stanbic Bank Ghana.
- In 2014, SIMS became STANLIB Ghana, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberty Holdings Limited, a Pan-African multi specialist investment company present in eight African countries with partners in the United Kingdom, Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
- In 2020, Ownership of STANLIB Ghana reverted to Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited via Stanbic Ghana Holdings Limited, which also owns Stanbic Bank Ghana.
